Players worldwide spent an average of $1.23 million per day in the iOS version of Fortnite from Epic Games last month, contributing a total of approximately $37 million to the game's life-to-date gross of more than $385 million, Sensor Tower Store Intelligence estimates reveal. This comes as Fortnite is set for another major uptick in player spending across all platforms with the arrival of Season 7 and its Battle Pass.
The new season should deliver a jolt of revived spending in the game. Fortnite's sixth season began in late September and brought in an estimated $17.6 million in its first week on Apple's platform, an increase of 41 percent over the previous week.
Fortnite was the No. 7 ranked game on iOS last month for worldwide revenue and No. 1 in the United States, its largest market, which accounted for 64 percent of spending in the title. It has been the No. 1 grossing iOS game in the U.S. for eight consecutive months and counting.
