  • Social app Musical.ly was the No. 1 app install advertiser by Share of Voice (SOV) on Facebook in 1Q18, having been No. 8 in 4Q17. The app was purchased by China’s Bytedance for $1 billion in November 2017.

  • MZ’s Final Fantasy XV: A New Empire was the No. 1 app install advertiser on AdMob last quarter. This marked the third consecutive quarter that the game boasted the largest Share of Voice on Google’s ad network.

  • French game publisher Voodoo had seven of the top 20 apps by Share of Voice on Instagram in Q1, including Twisty Road, the No. 1 app install advertiser on the platform.

  • Choices from Pixelberry Studios was No. 1 in terms of Share of Voice on the Pinterest ad network in 1Q18. It was one of four games to make the top 20 on the predominantly retail and lifestyle focused platform.
