Roblox has posted annual revenue growth every quarter since Q3 2015, and this Q3 was no exception. Spending in the mobile MMO from Roblox Corporation grew 87 percent year-over-year to $92 million in Q3, according to Sensor Tower's Store Intelligence estimates. Thanks to a strong quarter and consistent growth, Roblox has grossed an estimated $486 million to date on the App Store and Google Play.
Roblox ranked No. 28 for revenue out of all apps in Q3 worldwide. This ranking placed Roblox just behind popular gaming titles such as Toon Blast and Homescapes. Additionally, Roblox's Q3 revenue marks an increase of approximately 8 percent, or $6.5 million, in gross revenue compared to 2Q18.
To date, the U.S. and Great Britain have contributed the most to Roblox's bottom line. Players from these two countries account for 67 and 10 percent of revenue, respectively. The U.S. also contributes the most to downloads with 35 percent, but Brazil takes the No. 2 spot by contributing 9 percent of all downloads (compared to Great Britain's 6 percent). For context, Roblox has accumulated about 175 million downloads worldwide.
