Tinder was the most downloaded dating app worldwide for August 2019 with close to 5.8 million installs, which represented a 9 percent increase from August 2018. The countries with the most installs of the app during this period were the United States at 20 percent of its total downloads and Brazil at 11 percent. Tantan was the second most installed dating app worldwide last month with more than 4.2 million installs, which represented a 34 percent increase from August 2018. The countries with the largest number of Tantan installs were China at 39 percent, followed by India at 29 percent. Badoo, Happn, and MeetMe rounded out the top five most installed dating apps worldwide for the month.
