The top grossing Photo & Video category app worldwide for Q2 2019 was YouTube with close to $138 million in user spending, which represented 2.2x growth from Q2 2018. Approximately 70 percent of YouTube’s revenue was from the United States, followed by 7 percent from Japan and 4 percent from Great Britain. Kuaishou was the second highest earning Photo & Video category app worldwide for Q2 2019 with close to $78 million in gross revenue, which represented 57 percent year-over-year growth from Q2 2018. The majority of Kuaishou’s revenue was from China at 99 percent. The next top grossing app was TikTok, followed by 17 LiveAF and PicsArt.
