Top News Apps Worldwide for October 2019 by Downloads

Toutiao was the most downloaded news app worldwide for October 2019 with more than 2.4 million installs. The country with the majority of the installs of the app during this period was China at 99 percent of its total downloads. The full top 10 ranking of news apps worldwide by downloads for October 2019 is above. App download estimates are from Sensor Tower’s Store Intelligence platform.

Dailyhunt was the second most installed news app worldwide last month with close to 2.3 million installs. The country with the largest number of Dailyhunt installs was India at 97 percent. Google News, News Break, and Opera News rounded out the top five most installed news apps worldwide for the month.
