Top Social Media Apps Worldwide for July 2019 by Downloads

Facebook was the most downloaded social media app worldwide for July 2019 with close to 56 million installs. The countries with the most installs of the app during this period were India at 23 percent of its total downloads and Indonesia at 11 percent. The full top 10 ranking of social media apps worldwide by downloads for July 2019 is above. App download estimates are from Sensor Tower’s Store Intelligence platform.

TikTok was the second most installed social media app worldwide in July with more than 53.5 million installs. The countries with the largest number of TikTok installs were India at 41 percent, followed by China at 10 percent. Instagram, Likee, and Snapchat rounded out the top five most installed social media apps worldwide for the month.
