Top Sports Apps Worldwide for September 2019 by Downloads

DAZN was the most downloaded sports app worldwide for September 2019 with close to 2.1 million installs, which represented a 30 percent increase from September 2018. The countries with the most installs of the app during this period were Brazil at 39 percent of its total downloads and Italy at 30 percent. The full top 10 ranking of sports apps worldwide by downloads for September 2019 is above. App download estimates are from Sensor Tower’s Store Intelligence platform.

NFL was the second most installed sports app worldwide last month with more than 1.6 million installs, which represented a 47 percent increase from September 2018. The countries with the largest number of NFL installs were the United States at 91 percent, followed by Mexico at 1 percent. ESPN, Yahoo Sports, and Onefootball rounded out the top five most installed sports apps worldwide for the month.
