In July, Lineage M from NCSOFT had its best month for revenue since April 2018, generating $75.8 million. The title, which has accumulated $2.8 billion in spending to date, is a huge hit in South Korea, and recently celebrated its third anniversary, leading to this surge in player spending.

Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle from Bandai Namco, meanwhile, had its best month for revenue since February 2019, generating $87.6 million. The title regularly plays hosts to large in-game events that spark a rise in spending, and, much like Lineage M, it celebrated its fifth launch anniversary last month, resulting in another such increase in spending.
