Top Mobile Games by Worldwide Revenue for October 2019

The top mobile game by worldwide revenue for October 2019 was PUBG Mobile from Tencent with close to $153.9 million in user spending, which represented a 7x growth from October 2018. Approximately 65 percent of PUBG Mobile’s revenue was from China, followed by 10 percent from the United States and 4 percent from Japan. The full ranking of the top mobile games for October 2019 is above. Mobile game revenue estimates are from Sensor Tower’s Store Intelligence platform.

Honor of Kings from Tencent was the second highest earning mobile game by worldwide revenue for October 2019 with close to $116.2 million in gross revenue. About 92 percent of Honor of King’s revenue was from China, followed by 3 percent from Thailand. The next top grossing mobile game was Candy Crush Saga from King, followed by Pokémon GO from Niantic and Lineage M from NCSOFT.

One of 2019’s biggest success stories is Coin Master from Moon Active, which generated $63.1 million in revenue in October after substantially increasing user spend this year. Last month marked the first time it has broken into the top 10 revenue generators in the world, a position it could well maintain moving forward.

Homescapes from Playrix is another big mover, generating $62.7 million in revenue to break into the top 10 again in eighth. It has outperformed its still very lucrative predecessor Gardenscapes in every month since February 2019.

Three Kingdoms - Strategic from Aligames is another huge success since its launch in China in September 2019. In October alone it generated $52.1 million in gross revenue from the App Store.
